Headed to the Big Apple

It's hard to believe that our 2nd wedding anniversary is fast approaching and this year we've decided a trip to NYC would be a great way to celebrate. New York has been on our travel list for quite some time and this seemed like a perfect opportunity to go. We've booked our plane tickets and hotel but that's all we've done. The plan is to relax in Central Park, roam the streets and take in all the sights and try out delicious new restaurants. I'm hoping I can get some shopping in as well :)

Let me know if anyone has any recommendations on things to do and restaurants to try. We're up for anything!

  1. My recs: Make a reservation at one of Mario Batali's restaurants... maybe Babbo or Del Posto! And, hit up Hotel Gansevoort's rooftop for drinks late night!

  6. How fun! I'm trying to talk Nicole into going again for a girls trip this summer! You HAVE to go to Becco's http://www.becco-nyc.com it was the most amazing meal I have ever had. Get the chef's 3 daily pasta special, it's to die for. I recommend reservations b/c it's tiny and is packed with locals plus it's real close to Times Square!

  7. That is where Josh & I got engaged, so it was a fast whirlwind trip. BUt, I do remember having the best pizza of my life at a restaurant on the water before we boarded the ferry (to see the statue of liberty). NOt much help...I realize that. Another cool thing that I enjoyed was taking a tour bus around town. It took us to see "Ground Zero" which was a very emotional place for anyone that is old enough to remember that day. Enjoy your trip!!!
