Easter 2015

I know I'm a little behind on blogging (Ok, more than just a little...) but I still wanted to post about our Easter celebrations this year.  We had a total of 4 egg hunts which was great considering the boys were all about it this year.  Well, Henry was all about hunting the eggs and Charlie was more concerned with what was in them... :)

We celebrated with Ryan's family the Sunday before Easter.  All 12 grandkids were there which rarely happens these days and Henry was beyond excited to play with Jack and Harry.

That week we had an egg hunt at their school.  Again, Charlie was more into checking out the candy in the eggs than actually picking them up but Henry filled his basket pretty quick.

We had brunch at my parents club the Saturday before Easter which was a blast.  They had chicks and bunnies for the kids which was a great idea.  Henry wasn't so sure about the bunny and said it was biting his basket...

Henry held the bunny for about 30 seconds before throwing it back in the pen... :/

Sword fights with Pops...

Henry showing off his eggs to Charlie :)

Ready to dye eggs at Mimi's house!

Charlie was quickly banned after he spilled two cups and broke an egg... maybe next year!

Henry was a fan :)

Easter morning... The bunny brought brooms and the boys were thrilled!

Ready for church...

Charlie was over it....

So many great memories from this past holiday and thankful to have been able to spend so much time with our families!

Car Wash Boys

I apologize for the lack in blogging lately but between working full time and keeping up with two little boys, blogging doesn't always make the top of the list when I have a few minutes to myself.  I still plan to do updates on both of the boys and post about our recent trip to Napa but in the meantime I want to do a quick recap of our afternoon.  It was unexpected but so much fun and I loved all the memories we made.  Henry was planning to help Ryan wash his car and Charlie and I were going to head to the grocery store.  Henry has always loved helping Ryan with this but I was not expecting Charlie to be such a fan.  As soon as Henry turned on the water Charlie was giggling and squealing and had to be right next to it.  It was a warm afternoon for February so I decided to just go with it and let him get wet.  Next thing I know he is soaked and running around without his shirt.  He was even eating the soap at one point.  I imagine we'll be spending a lot of time this summer running through the sprinklers :)

Family Pics

This past November we had family pictures taken and I am in love with every one of them! Honestly, I had really low expectations of how they would turn out with an almost one year old and almost three year old but they turned out great.  I was hoping to get some good individual shots of both boys at this age and not only did we get that, we got a few great ones of the two of them together and the four of us.  I'm truly grateful for the images that Kristie Mills captured of us at this stage in our lives :)
