Recent Happenings

I seem to be struggling lately with coming up with actual posts but the least I can do is capture our recent happenings with a few pictures....

Two weekends ago I took a girls trip to NYC.  I went with my mother in law and three sister in laws and we had a great time despite the fact that it was extremely cold!  We hit up all the major hot spots in the city, went to three shows, ate yummy food and even visited The Today Show on Friday morning.

This past Friday night we went to a surprise engagement dinner for one of my best friends from high school.  Her fiancĂ© had a great proposal planned and we all met up at one of our favorite restaurants to celebrate.  Can't wait for the wedding next Spring in Mexico!

Erich & Kim!

Best friends since high school :)

On Saturday we went out to my parents house to celebrate my Dad's birthday.  The guys played golf during the day and we all stayed for dinner at their house.  I snapped this pic of Benny on the way out there.  He wasn't very happy that he was stuck in the back sandwiched between two golf bags...

On Sunday we went over to Aaron & Nicole's house for a crawfish boil.  We had a great time relaxing and hanging out on their back porch :)

We've had a lot going on lately and it's hard to believe that it is already April.  But the best part about that is the official countdown is on until Ryan's graduation!!  Only 40 more days until he walks across the stage.  I'm not counting or anything :)

  1. You have been busy! I am so happy for you that Ryno is almost finished up with school. I would be counting down the days too!

Thanks for coming out this weekend! It was so fun to hang out with you all and enjoy some mud bugs :)

  2. Great post, I love the pictures! I saw in your profile that Benny thinks he's a human and it made me laugh. I have 4 cats (thanks to a month of volunteering at an animal shelter) and my boyfriend and I refer to them as "the children". Of course I guess the fact that I give animals people names (Carl, Cheryl, Karen...) doesn't really help things!

    Great blog!
