Annual Christmas Dinner

This year we had our annual Christmas dinner at Aaron & Nicole's house.  I look forward to this night every year as it's so fun to get together with our friends during the holiday season and I love to see how much our group has grown.  It's hard to believe this is our 6th annual dinner and our group has grown by 4!

Alexandra was so excited to see us and tackled Charlie when we arrived.  Just kidding, but she did give Charlie a sweet hug :)

 Loved the kids table!  So many great activities that kept them occupied throughout the night.  Who doesn't love a truck sticker book, balloon maker and fake snow?!?

 Alison brought matching pjs for all the kids and it was so cute. These two are trouble in the making... 

 The fake snow couldn't have been a bigger hit with Henry...

 I think it's time we take him to see actual snow!

Such a fun evening and so thankful for Nicole & Aaron hosting at their beautiful home.  Everything was perfect and the food was delicious.

The Most Wonderful Time

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year.  This past month has flown by and it's hard to believe that it is already Christmas Eve.  We have had so much fun with the boys this season and I love to see the excitement through through their eyes.  I have taken quite a few pictures, with both my phone and camera, and want to make sure I capture all of these memories in a post.  I apologize in advance for the amount of pictures below!

Thanks to Mimi, we kicked off the month with an advent calendar and have had a blast doing a new activity each day.  

 On the first day we opened a few sets of Christmas pjs that we have been sporting all month!

And attempted pictures in our new pjs... Also, please note that Henry is wearing big boy undies!! It was about time but the boy is pretty much potty trained.  

 We like to play in the potty that remains in our living room... I promise it is clean here!

We attempted more pj pics in front of the tree... You can sense the brotherly love, right?? :)

We decorated a Christmas tree with sticker ornaments that doubled as a fort...

We wore our new Christmas shirts to school... 

 We baked cupcakes on Charlie's birthday! 

 And of course licked the icing :)

We did a Christmas puzzle... 

And climbed on big brother who was sitting in our new chair...  

 We read Christmas stories...  

 And wore Santa hats... 

 And made hot chocolate!  Of course the best part was filling up the cup with marshmallows :)

 We went Christmas shopping... 

 And looked cute :)

We decorated the tree with felt candy canes.. 

 We discovered the ornaments were like balls that were so much fun to throw!  Thank goodness they are plastic :) 

 We attended their Christmas party at school...

 We baked cookies and cinnamon rolls at Mimi's house!

 We visited Santa...  

 And loved it!  

 At least one boy did... :)  

We climbed in drawers.. 

 And stole more ornaments off the tree... :) 

It really has been the most wonderful time of the year and I'm looking forward to spending the next few days with family celebrating the true reason for the season.
